fascinating... I actually think you might be onto something here. making the perfect character can be a pain: I wonder how many failled sketches certain famed artists go through in the creation of there characters: The ones that just pop into existance are likely hiding in front of tons of concept sketches.

In particular, I like the head and face: it matches your style, yet seems... I don't know... dynamically refined? like I said, you're onto something, but I don't think I can describe it right. meh, blame incompetancy on my part.

And yes, both insomnia and artists block bite... I fear for your sanity;>

It's a really good sketch, you should keep it, I especially like his shirt and how he seems like he would just blend into an urban environment. I'm really like your sketches!
