looks like a mini verson of my dagger who just passeed away...

how long he/she lived?

she was about 3 yrs old i got her when she was about 2 and a half... she looked liek she had a scar from a surgery for becoming impacted must have been from before i got her and why the owners gettign rid of her ... she wa a very happy friendly beardie just of late she hung out in her little root cave and slept most the time and then last night i found her under her kicked oever water dish and a mouth full of the crushed walnut i used for her bedding and acting very strange i watched over her al night logn till i had to go run errands before work i stoped back in to check on her cause my mate said could be heat posing or dehydon i got home picked herup off her long and she didnt react at all put her in the bath tub with water the very shallow end and she didnt react agin then i sat there and watched her for a bit she wastent breathing thats when i relized she passed while i was out and about.. put her in a nice box laying ontop of her fave log just like i found her no wjust gathering the strengh to go burry her... i miss her so much i cant even stand to go in to my room where she lays ready to be burried..

So sad! You make me drop tears. *big warm hug*
What I will personally do, is burry the dead animal with a something that they SO MUCH loved. (Like the log maybe?) Also giving a beautiful rose. And if want to be more closer still, burry next to the poor creature a picture of you, smiling. Or even a picture of her with you.

Give yourself time to built the strengh to burry her.
I'm sure she remember you and LOVE you where she is now.
As you love her too.

surprizingly enough digging the whole and placing her was easy it was saying goodbye to her and giving her that last kiss good bye as she sleeps a slumber she shall never wake from.. . then buring her.... it hurt and now i go to my room and look in to her emty cage and begins to bawl cause that happy little beardie istn staring up at me liek hai dad...... i keep telling my self i can always get a new beardie to fill that emptyness in my room but i will never relace my dagger...

Give yourself time. If you end up to feel being a daddy again you can adopt a new beardie, better buy them young. You will see your new baby growing.
True that no other beardie can replace her, but a new one can help you to face over the sadness.
