Ternary Polarity Arc (In rough chronological order)
<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
You can insult him and his lifestyle, you can insult his heritage, you can even probably get away with punching him. He will try to be nice about it and avoid confrontations. Smile, think happy thoughts and walk away. Especially effective with insults directed at his biological father (as he holds little love for the deadbeat dad). But if you attack and/or hurt a member of his immediate family, especially his children, you better watch your back. He will eventually find you, assuming the police don't find you first. There is a reason they say "beware the nice ones".
Such is the unfortunate story that brought out this wrath. After almost 20 years of relative peace with his family and children, the peace got shattered when one of his kids went missing. Police investigations weren't turning out much in the way of leads and the searches didn't help much either. All they had to go on was video footage from a club parking lot, and it looked a lot like the victim in question was being taken home on their own vehicle by a designated driver. After three months of dead ends, Thor got tired of hoping and started his own investigation with help from Spike Yena and some of the yena's buddies.
The results of this less than approved search party was far more fruitful and the information was shared with the police. They did eventually find where Thor's teenage kid was being held and also found other kidnapping victims as well. But the conditions within the hideout were so deplorable, so depraved and brutal that seeing the states the victims were in, particularly his own child, pushed him into an all out rage. The hideout was not without hired thugs for guards, but at that point with his own backup and anger, they were little better than speed bumps. The punches, claws, kicks and headbutts he received were brief flares of pain in his tunnel vision of rage.
The entire fight felt like it was taking forever when in reality it was quite short. Each group of thugs Thor and his rescue team ran into pushed back harder and harder, forcing him to fight back harder and harder in turn. The last group of guards between him and his child had but one glimpse of him on his warpath...and its hard to fight someone under the full blown effects of Agility, Rage and Double Team. Even less when you see him charging right at you with a fire-type Hidden Power ready to go. When he was done, not even the security office in that hideout was unmarred. The security camera data was too damaged by electrical overload to be useful in court after the police picked up the kidnappers and their hired thugs.
Lesson to be learned: don't mess with his family and you won't have to face his fury. He's lucky that he and his small team weren't put in handcuffs themselves for raiding the place and committing what was essentially multiple counts of assault and battery. That and he made sure to not be anywhere near the place after calling the cops to come pick up the other kidnapping victims. ... He'll probably be limping and sore all over for a week after that run.
