Way back in 2005, I went to my first furry con - Furfright '05. Faced with the sudden and bizarre environment I found myself within, I did what anyone would do in my situation: immediately meet and make friends with a certain  greenhatmatt , and then proceed to invent a furry fetish that was better than all the others.

Sambito and I then held a party of sorts involving pastries, and at that point  athauglas joined in, since he was the jerk that brought me in the first place, as well as  catinshorts who was also there with us for his first con. The four of us are the un-officially official founders of Cakecon.
