and ok! The fur can have any shape you wish - I think the main issue here is that you have drawn the fur all in one single direction. So yes fur does have a direction it grows in, just like hair - but also like hair it's an organic thing and so it will never be as "perfect" as you made it. I love to reference this image to have a look if what I'm doing is right; http://www.deviantart.com/art/100-t.....dies-360570335 if you look at the grass cube and the white fur cube you can see it still follows a direction but got a far more natural and "wild" flow to it ^^ Hope it was of any help :)

Thanks so much fr the help honestly, this really helps me out. Fur for me wasnever an easy task but I'm slowly starting to work myself to get better at it. It' always been.. Confusing for me. I'm so used to drawing hairless monsters that I forget that I need to extend my practice.
