o_o At least the bunneh is a proper size! I know I never thought to ask, but you've got squirts (including this wee lady), aye? Ossumness! I think the only time I've been in Hamilton was when I was your wee one's age, to McMaster University when they were hosting the exhibition of the Magna Carta in the early 1980s. The memory is old enough that it's not entirely distinct in my mind, but I think I remember some of what I saw with accuracy.
For the camera work, I definitely like! I'm not at all familiar with either the manufacturer of your camera or film; I'm afraid I'm a Nikonthrope (D5100 DSLR with a standard and telephoto Nikkor lens, swappable) short on experience. But you certainly know how to whip up a pic! ^_^

Hey, long time no chat! :D And yes, I have two girls. :D
Hamilton is a little shop worn, but there's a sort of artistic renaissance happening of late. One thing fuelling it is refugees from Toronto fleeing the high prices, but it's also like the city is sort of finding i's way after the steel industry collapsed.
Thanks for the praise! The camera I was using in this case is a clunky old Soviet TLR made mostly of plastic. :D Film photography with old cameras became my new go-to hobby as gaming became scarce on the ground.
HOpe you've been well!

Pyat, hey there! ^_^
I always manage to get the age perception wrong because I'm as tall as I am. Most of the 5'-ish friends I have at the local supermarket are ten to twenty years my senior, frequently with wee ones of their own growing up (and in two cases, one of their little (but not quite so wee) ones work at the same Loblaws! ^_^), when I'm standing there thinking they're around my age (38 in December). ^_^
I can see why I didn't recognize your camera make; it sounds like working with such a snapper is a labour of love. But you enjoy it, and that's what's important! I don't know if I've displaced my book-and-paper gaming with anything else now, as much as I just didn't do a lot of it when I was still buying game books regularly. There is a bit of sunshine in that corner, tho'; a local gaming store (the pilot location is in Montreal) opened up six subway stops to the east of me, and probably not more than twenty minutes away, and while they deal in a lot of CCGs they also have a healthy supply of traditional gaming material and supplies (dice, markers, miniatures, etc.). Assuming I have a bit more cashflow in the new year, I'm still planning on getting myself the Pathfinder mainbooks and finding myself a gaming group more actively than I have in recent years.
As for my wee snapper: a Nikon D5100 DSLR, which I've been having a blast learning my way around in the last four years. I wish I'd actually taken some pictures the summer after I got it, when I got myself a Metro Zoo membership; I even had it with me (the camera and bag) but I didn't have the nerve to pull it out and use it. o_o My brother understood when I told him that; he was the same way with his old Nikon manual when he first got it. ^_^
