Tweetsie Railroad Theme Park in Blowing Rock, North Carolina
The Tweetsie Railroad theme park actually has two separate 3 foot gauge loops of track. While the more famous train ride is traversed by the likes of the parks 2-8-2 Mikado and 2-6-0 Mogul around the bottom of mountain at the top of the mountain is this train that receives much less fanfare.
This is the Mouse Mine Train that takes visitors around the top of the mountain and through a short animatronic show. What's interesting is that if you look closely you will note that this ride has been homebuilt out a Fairmont narrow gauge track speeder and track service wagons.
