well basically after emerl self destructed eggman made with the leftoverparts and somewhat soul of the GIZOID into gemerl

A new robot later appears called G-Mel. Eggman creates this robot from the parts of Emerl and, like Emerl, it gets stronger every time Sonic and Co. face him. G-Mel also grafts himself into Eggman's mechs to make them more powerful. After all seven Chaos Emeralds are found, G-Mel absorbs their power and goes insane, but is stopped by Super Sonic and Eggman. Cream later finds G-Mel on the sand, heavily damage, and Tails repairs him. G-Mel then goes to live with Cream.

Uh I believe its Emerl rebuilt without the skill copy technique program in it or so I haven't seen it 1st hand but read about him some tho
