Trans-Am is back as a class. However new rules and regs make these old chassis outdated. Its a damn shame really. And there are not all that many classes they can compete in otherwise as well. Makes you wonder what happened to all of them.

Yeah i saw they were running it again with the 2000s cars. Most of them i think ended up in private hands or sold off to run in formula libre events after they folded or became outdated.

They race these cars in South America. Many of them are sent down there, often they get new bodies in the process, and many end up in GT1.

LOVE how these Oldsmobile look in Trans Am trim.

There is still one of these that runs locally in GT1 around here, its pretty beat up but it still manages to finish mid pack against the more modern cars.

I love seeing the older Trans Am cars. The two that I took a picture of (the Camaro and Vette) from the SCCA races at Kansas are as close as I have ever been to them. But KC was a terrible place for the car scene until about a decade ago.

They had alor of older ones, like the teralingua mustangs deeper in the infield ill try to post em soon.
