I always liked this version, too. I never really liked the Disney series that much, although I did have the VHS of Doug's 1st Movie as a kid. Of course i don't know what became of it.

I remember watching PB&J Otter when I was 5 or 6. The style of the show always reminded me of Doug, which is not surprising considering it came out when the Disney version was still airing on ABC.

I don't remember that show, it must be one of his lesser known works.

To this day i still prefer the Nick series, the Disney series just didn't do it for me. But i do remember watching it quite a bit on ABC's One Saturday Morning though.

True, i also thought that the Disney series was ok. And the movie was fairly good, but not that much better. I think that it lacked the down to earth feel of the Nick series, it seemed just a bit too overdone. Though for a direct follow up, it got the job done.

I really haven't heard of the aforementioned, maybe it's just more obscure compared to his other works.
