Norfolk and Western #433. A 4-8-0 "M" class built in 1907 by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO). Shown here under roof and on display in Abington, Virginia at the trail head for the "Virginia Creeper" rail trail.
Needs a coat of paint but otherwise looks to have been well cared for. Sister N&W #475 currently operates at the Strasburg Railroad in Pennsylvania with a couple of other N&W "M" class sisters saved for display from the infamous "Lost Engines of Roanoke" group.
