In case you didn't know, Maltain is a character from a MUD I play in. Everybody loves shocky myches.
This is the first Myche head I've ever drawn that turned out good enough to not throw out, so here we go |B
For those who haven't met him, Maltain is a Myche (quadrupedal creature with a long tail and a mane all down the back) whose colourings - for Myches - are fairly normal; brown on the top and red on his underside. I might do a full-size picture later. His claim to fame is having fur that charges static electricity almost constantly as he walks, though he doesn't seem to mind at all. Sparks will crackle over his mane and his fur when he moves, and touching him is a shocking experience.
While the Myches as a race are quite technologically competent, Maltain's electricity wreaks havoc on the machines. So he became a Mage, travelling the lands, killing monsters and taking their experience points and shiny objects. Once he learns the Shockshield spell, he truly will be the Electric Myche. In the meantime, he can zap people at will without having to scuff his feet on a carpet first.
Maltain loves honey. Honeycombs, honey on bread, honey graham crackers, honey garlic wings, you name it. He's also the first seller of Fireball Potions, a tasty, spicy, and glowy drink that's a bit hazardous to your health, and your pants. In his spare time, he searches for new honey-flavoured products, reads magical books, charges batteries, brews fireball potions, and tips Nikitaks.
Myches belong to
not-fun, Maltain and art belong to
darkmark.

I think the muzzle looks kind of like a horse's, but only because of the way the nostrils/mouth are done.
You'll see if I can do a full-body picture that the red fur is chestfluff and the lighter brown is a mane that goes all the way down the back to the end of the tail.
