Even drakes within lava tubes need to eat...things don't usually come down into these tubes too often, the drakes usually have to leave their heated homes to find prey.
But today was different! A heat seeking creature had stumbled into the maze of tubes, so you can imagine to a drake its the perfect opportunity! After hunting his prey down who was basking near a waterfall of molten rock he decided it was the perfect spot to rest, his back facing away from the lava, happily keeping himself warm and aiding in working over the contents of his stomach.
Days like this are very rare indeed!
