Backstory: Final Part in the Jack Oggstrouse Story Arc.



Story:

-It was already night by the time B-man saw the lake by his dojo come into view, he just wanted to rest and didn't care what happened to him. The clouds tendrils wrapped a bit tighter to B-mans feet as it started to bank down to the dojo, he couldn't help but notice that the lights were on -

B-man: oh great now what?...

-his vision blurred slightly as exhaustion was taking hold of him-

B-man: damnit...a Ni-ju Bai Kayo-Ken attack was over kill...

-the Times twenty attack had done far more harm to him that he had expected, something then caught his eye. A figure was standing by the front door waiting for him, he frowned and wondering if he would have to fight again. As Omega landed to let B-man step off, his footing was unsure as his vision blurred again-

# come on...out?...

- He couldn't help but freeze as stepping into the moonlight was Belle-

# are you doing here?...

Belle: I know you over heard what my mother said...

# is it true?...am I just another one of those...

-B-man took a few steps foreword but the exhaustion was taking further hold, Belle tensed as her wings unfolded ready to move-

B-Man: another....a...another....

-the world spun for B-man as he could feel himself starting twist as his legs gave way, only for the world to stop once more as he gasped slightly in pain-

# weren't just "another"...you aren't another...

-Belle had just caught him before his upper body had hit the grass, she gasped then moved her hands-

Belle: you...You fought like this?...but..mother said you...you left to die...

-B-man looked up at her slowly, his left eye shut slightly as he smiled a bit-

# thought about you again, and all of the better moments in my life since I met you...and well...

-Tears weld up in Belles eyes,-

# made me fight a bit harder so I could see you again...

-Wordlessly Belle shifted to her knees to hold B-man closer to her, tears of joy streamed down her cheeks-

Belle: Is this was love feels like?

B-man: how does it feel?

-Belle held B-man closer nuzzling his head as her right hand moved up to the nape of his neck, which was the only answer needed. He...no "They" finally had their happy ending-
