Sorry for the poor quality photo. The cosplay competition was held in a room with dim lighting and the flash kind of washed out the color but at least you can see me holding my new medal...Mjölnir! Ra'Kir's head is too big to put the medal around, so I had to hold it which was fine haha.

My first time at Gen Con, second time competing in a cosplay competition...and second time coming home with 1st place in the Professional's Category. Gen Con was my last con of the year. I've already begun plans for the creation(s) for next year. I have made some new friends in the cosplay world and we will be doing a group cosplay. The creations will be made by me, and the other half of the cosplay worn by them.

The crowds at Gen Con were overwhelming and a little...nerve wracking. It was hard to get anywhere to look at anything and if there was a booth you wanted to shop at...you better be that person to kind of just push yourself in there because if you don't...you're not going to get that box set you've been staring at the last 15 minutes trying to figure out a game plan on how to get to it to buy. xD
