The real secret is not in what did I do specifically, but knowing what the desired end product should look like based on the observations of older VHS recordings, as well as being familiar with the tools in the programs that you use and what effects they would have on the image.
If I did tell you what it was I did, you may not have the same programs I use and the result would not be the same. And it would not be right for me to tell you to buy the same expensive programs I have and learn all the tools.

Just say what program you use and what the name of effects. I'll find some analog things. That effects can be calld very similar in different software.

And you should know, because I explained it before:

Pokémon Gold version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon Silver version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon Crystal version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon Ruby version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon Sapphire version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon FireRed version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon LeafGreen version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.
Pokémon Emerald version: Female Pikachu has no heart-shape tail.

With all this in mind, this means female Pikachu are NOT required to have heart-shaped tails.
The heart-shaped tail on a female Pikachu only started to appear with Diamond and Pearl versions in 2007. Their appearance does not void or de-authenticate the female Pikachu in earlier games, and they are still valid and original designs of Pikachu.
