It was so fun havin’ a Spat & Oxnard adventure again. My buddy (sometimes anonymous sometimes not) did a great job making a mod of them together in the Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers game.
I wanna draw it out much like I’ve been doing for the SMB2 mod! But maybe I’ll wait until I finish the other first. Even if I’m not making the games and comics and art I thought I would be - I’m just glad I’m still doing it in a different way. :3 Thanks again for attending! I have been enjoying the nostalgia behind the works you and your friend have done through these mods. Mario 2 had so much fun to it and, golly, Rescue Rangers. Just thinking of it brings me back to my parent's basement as a kid during the summer when I got my braces.

Hehe he worked so fast. :D Both mods were super fun and nostalgic. Well, I have more nostalgia for SMB2 from age 8 and up! It was fun playing and replaying the games and more fun doin' ones with Princess and Toad since Mario and Luigi were always an option. Hehe it's fun remembering how they all seemed when we were younger!
I agree. I am sure being able to put a part of your current self into what was fun / influential when you were a little Nishi had to feel astounding.
Was your first experience with SMB2 through "Super Mario All Stars"? Or did you get to play the original NES version?
For games like Mario 1 and Mario 3, I like the original NES versions. However, for Mario 2, I like the Super Mario Advance version. Birdo talks and there is a bonus mode where you can hunt for Yoshi eggs in Sub-Con. :)
