Just a fun little project. Plus it's kinda nice to have a gem that represents my home state. Gaia Stone (Green Obsidian) was an accidental finding after the Mt. St. Helens eruption back in 1980. When the clean up crew was working with acetylene torches, they noticed that the heat from their torches was melting the ash and rock and making this vivid green color.
In metaphysical study, it's known to house the "soul of the earth", and is a good balancing agent for chakras.
It induces compassion, diffuses anger, and aids with tolerance. They can heal and sooth the heart and energize the emotional body. Recommended for healing emotional wounds.
Apparently, it combines well with Amethyst, Danburite, Azeztulite, Phenacite, and all Quartz. For emotional healing it works especially well with Rose Quartz (LOL!!!!) and Morganite.
