This is my new fursona, Xanadu. He's part of a race of moth people who live in massive hollow trees. Xanadu here was made a prince upon his birth (or rather after hatched from his cocoon) because of his heterochromatic coloring which people thought gave him the power to control the sun and the moon. He can not, but his kind is very superstitious.

Xanadu represents me in a couple different ways. Firstly, he's rather charismatic like me, but often needs his space from his friends because he can get overwhelmed easily. The sun and moon theme corresponds to me having two distinct personalities; a bright, happy joking one and a more serious no-nonsense one. I chose a moth because moths are hella cool and I've had more than one fateful encounter with moths. Also orange and blue are reminiscent of one of my favorite games in the universe, Portal.

Also he will eat your clothes so watch out. Sometimes if you leave your porch light on he'll show up and stare at it for hours. What an idiot.
