Another oldie I decided to pair with an even older character concept cuz why not.

This is Memel. Both she and her twin sister Moria are almost certainly alligators, yet they vehemently insist they're of royal dragon lineage. The two were sent away at a young age by their [almost certainly alligator] parents to live in a monastery, and it wasn't long before they made the monks' lives a living hell thanks to their picking fights with the neighboring towns' children, starting fires, and defacing property in the name of juvenile defiance.

The two were often punished as a result. Often severely. This only made them less willing to behave however, and it became a self feeding cycle that culminated in their deciding to run away right on the cusp of adolescence. The duo ended up in the streets, and they lived a harsh life of desperate acts from one day to the next. At some point they parted ways.

As a young adult, Memel found work apprenticing for a blacksmith wherein she serviced nobility and unsavory clients alike. She also found herself drawn to---and enchanted by---swords. Just as her reputation for being a young prodigy began to spread past the city walls, Memel decided to leave everything behind and go on a journey to locate and study legendary blades.

She also hopes to one day locate her sister, wherever she may be.


Some character traits:
-> Was always a joker in contrast to Moria's serious demeanor.
-> Used to be a total punk. Now she's a happy go lucky thinker of sorts.
-> Still lacks good judgement at times. Occasionally gets into trouble.
-> Has never used a sword despite having an encyclopedic knowledge of technique
-> Likes to smoke. BUT... Don't smoke, kids!
-> Says she's a dragon. The validity of this is unlikely.
