Hm, interesting. Do you actually believe in some form of reincarnation? In the Perciverse? In real life?

In Perciverse, it exists at least in the form of memories! It's unclear whether souls or spirits are truly passed on, or whether ghost types are just able to connect with those memories... Though at the very least, there are many documented cases of anthro ghost Pokemon having memories and personality traits of people who have died, sometimes centuries before their(The ghost type's) time. A lot of people believe that this is reincarnation, though science isn't really sure how to explain it, even in their world!

As for me... I wouldn't /not/ believe in it, at the very least! Though I'm not really a very religious or spiritual person myself, I don't even exactly buy into the concept of souls. ... Though, I'm not so stubborn that I wouldn't change my mind if I saw some evidence to the contrary firsthand

Yeah, I think you look at it basically the same as me. I am more than willing to believe it, but as long as I don't see any evidence, I'm gonna go with "no".

Seems about right! I used to be a firm believer, but I've talked to so many people who just seemed so incredibly hokey... It's hard to believe when you're surrounded by bullshitters! XD That being said though, I have heard a lot of very believable stories about straight up ghosts... And if you look at the scientific theory of energy never being created or destroyed, then I think you can find some basis for reincarnation there... Though, that's only if a person's "soul" is a kind of energy, I guess! Either way, it's interesting stuff to think about

Yeah! In fact, in The HOLS, souls do exist and they're basically a form of energy with a certain frequency.
And yep... Some spiritual things are very convincing. I remember Derek Ogilvie (not sure if I spelled that correctly) who talked to the deceased, and he always impresses me.

Yeah, when someone just tells you of this supposed spiritual experience, I'm much more inclined to think they just misinterpreted situations and try to explain something they can't explain through spiritual means.

I often get the feeling (the people I've spoken to anyway) are just looking for attention and making up stories, though I'd much rather believe your explanation! A lot nicer

Heh. There are both kinds, I'm sure. People who just look for attention, and people who are just... misinformed.
That said, I can't say I've had many people tell me about their spiritual experiences. In fact, it happened only once. It was my then-girlfriend. Maybe that's why I am a bit more inclined to give benefit of the doubt and put a nice spin to it...
