He isn't forgotten, He's just the past Bowser and not much people pay attention to the past. :o
Bowser is a great character and I love the guy, maybe not enough to get yiff pic with him like half of the site does. But King Koopa is Bowser and people who have been long time Mario fans will always remember that.

The cartoon is really silly, but oh god, King koopa is the only thing that saves that cartoon <3 I have a VHS with two episodes and one of them features a scene where orders to have his feet licked... That helped me to get this pic done <3
