Much later after just having used the wand on the dragon,
turning the once male dragon into a humanoid female dragon with hearts just for him and thus creating a very irate princess, Sir Kelb wonders if the Shop Keepers lisp had got in the way of just what that wand was suppose to do.

Personally, I would go for the dragon.
The king will most likely just grant Sir Kelb some land in honor of his deed, and then marry the princess off to some prince cousin. If he's "tamed" the dragoness, the king might as well give him the land around his lair.
Though...I doubt that Sir Kelb or the king will find the dragon willing to be taxed.
