After a long time coming I finally have an official reference sheet. As you can see now the shorts look like actual shorts and not underwear! A lot of thanks goes to my good friend 
UTX-ShapeShifter for putting a lot of work into the ref, couldn't have picked a better artist for the job!

Random tidbits on Dash that didn't fit on the ref because I love miscellaneous details:
•Favorite Color: Yellow, then Blue
•Blood Type: A
•Sexuality: Gay
•Hobbies: Playing games, sparring/fighting with others, running, taking spontaneous naps.
•Fur type: Short but soft
•Favorite food: Seafood
•Has a big fondness for slinkies, but not metallic ones.
•Likes water, pools etc but doesn't enjoy swimming.
•Smart and cunning but very gullible and easy to persuade.
•Footgear: When not barefoot, wears sneakers or tennis shoes with white socks.
•Has very strong lower body strength.
•Actually is a master martial artist but usually gets his butt handed to him. Generally due to cockiness, challenging larger or more powerful males or even because of underlying masochism.
•His enhanced durability and resilience to death are not his own powers but due to Crimson hexing him. This is mainly so Crimson (and others) could abuse the fox far beyond his normal threshold. The minor regeneration is an unexpected side affect of being afflicted by Crimson's blood magic for so long.

First off, the artist did a fan-friggin-tastic job on this ref. And secondly it's nice to see some other fighter furs around here lol. ^^ I am hardcore diggin on your design dude. The color scheme is crazy appealing to the eyes without being overly complex, the added details are always a major bonus to see on these refs, and okay yeah....The paws are kinda gettin me bad lol. Fighter paws are the best paws. X3
I really do love those black and yellow fighter shorts they look so comfy and the colors go perfectly with your character, and yes, they actually do look like shorts this time because they go down to your knees. So much better than those white ones that looked like boxer briefs. Not that I mind your character running around in boxer briefs.
It's actually a very long story in the sense that I created Dash before I even realized I was a furry. I had another entire world, series or whatever in my mind and it had a lot of original anthro OCs in it. When I stumbled upon the furry fandom, Dash was a new character I established in the story and by far my favorite character even over the others who I had for years. So he naturally just became my fursona.
