Forgive me for saying this, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this was the HALO games. Maybe because I haven't played them in years or because they are FUN when not hyped or something.

Probably because the artist who drew this is a huge fan of Halo and so probably used that as a basis. Can't say I'm a huge fan myself despite playing the first two games.

All I remember it was the first game that introduced "equipment" like the "Bubble shield".
