I think I like the 30's better than the 20's. It's interesting that there's such elegance in an era most known for The Great Depression.

I agree! I love the freedom and fun of the 20's, but the 30's had a beautiful structure and conservative form that was really very elegant (through necessity, but nevertheless it was a lovely era).

I wish women still dressed like this >.<

I really like the elegant design of this dress! The fashion of the 30's certainly had a very appealing aesthetic.

I supposed it would depend on the skill of the designer. Late 30s could be attractive & elegant, but much of the early 30s low-end 'dress-up' was just very strange. 1880's volumes of ruffles of asymmetrical draping.
