You forgot to add the part about how the lack of green chlorophyll in the leaves causes the other pigments to become more visible, which is why the leaves to appear to change color.

And how the pH level of the soil affects the trees' ability to absorb certain minerals in the soil with which the leaf pigments are made, so that a tree which might turn bright red in one area will turn yellow in another because the soil pH does not allow it to absorb the minerals necessary to make the same red pigment.
