Yeah. This one musta been ridden hard and put away wet; the gear train failed this weekend. When I pulled the bottom access plate, both the worm and axle gears were worn away to nearly nothing. Amazing the little beggar lasted as long as it did... Ah, well. Lionel has an excellent parts department, and a replacement motor and axle are enroute at a fairly reasonable price. :D
