I've always liked Nicole's design. For awhile it seemed like every new character had to be a clone of Sonic with some minor differences. Nicole was a breath of fresh air. I haven't followed the comic in years, not since the reboot. I think Nicole survived, but it doesn't really matter anymore. *Sigh* So many interesting characters killed off forever...
