I'm standing at the new touchpad for the elevators. You have to hit what floor you have to go to and the touchpad will tell you what elevator to stand by, to get on. It was cool the first day, but when more people came on Thursday, it got out of control, again.

well the issue is the dynamics, typical hotel, floor to lobby, lobby to floor, buttons work great, but when you've now got a few thousand folks going from floor to floor, it slows down by an order of magnitude. The other new option is that it counts how many requests it has and it should not open to let someone on when the car is full, used to happen a lot, sorry we're full.
I'm not sure the level of surveillance on upper floors and yes, the calculations are basic but before with the earlier system, they could not estimate nor calculate the load on a car, now they can actually do both on a couple cars, car is full? nonstop to the next floor and see if that improves.
