The problem people have with the movie is it focuses more on the people/stars rather than "Godzilla" to the point it's barely in the movie, sure the movie you pointed out was bad but Godzilla was at least the main focus on top of that it's one of those "So bad It's good" movies while the other devolves into a generic 90's disaster that get's more boring the longer you watch it.
Yeah, but I was trying to say that All the old Godzilla movies do that too. Especially spending the movie focusing on a bunch of characters that we have no reason to be interested in, while leaving Godzilla with 20mins of screen time, just at the end. I simply fail to see the distinction between a good bad monster movie, and a bad bad monster movie.
