I finally got my scanner running again.
wee
anyway this is probably the most serious form of artwork i have ever made when i was in art class at high school 4 years ago.
I got done watching the new Phantom of the Opera and it inspired me to make this mask.
this mask was actually cut by me in the form of a very thick rectangle which i then pressed onto my face and very carefully cut the eye holes out while i was wearing it.
i then cut one of the eys in half as you can see.
this thing is completely molded to my face and fits like a glove except for the occasional clamping on my nose because the nose got slightly smashed but it still fits.
now the other part that is broken was a effect i did after i had it baked the first time.
then i took a small mallet and a special nail and broke it at two places for a clean break.
I applied a Opaque White High Gloss glaze to the entire mask and had it kilned.
now your wondering.
if this was done on a scanner how did it get so much detail and such wonderful shadowing.
well its simple
when you apply a black or semi black background instead of lowering the white lid the light gets absorbed and the excess light is gone and thus more shadows can be seen by the scanner.
afterwards i applied some highlighting and exposure controls.
then after that i did color control control magic of my own doing to make the final darkness feel like effect to it.
really brings life to it huh.
Let me know what you think.
and no you can't have the mask so don't even ask.

tis a scary power for such a smaller scanner.
even fun part is.
it can defeat the scanner anti-aliasing problem where images get slightly blurred.
it does pre-applied un-sharpening masks
and ready for the erection killer
i got the scanner completely free.
MWUHAHAHAHAAHAHHA
I AM TEH BARGAIN MASTAH!!!
