Among societies of today's generation, we are often met with bumps in the road. This is pretty much a particular subject that will come up. Me and
had discussed this kind of topic for awhile and would often wonder how long each subject would last until the calm after the storm.
Regardless of what each one subject of drama it is, it infects a majority of the community like the flu.
Here are our thoughts:
Samhain:
"Well, I'm just sick of the drama being all talk and no action! Because that's all furries ever do during these FA dramastorms! They just bitch and moan and some of them threaten to leave the site, but they never fucking do because they're so weak-willed they basically make gambling addicts look like Captain America! I mean, I did my fair share of bitching during the adult ad fiasco, but that resulted in my computer getting infected and, oh yeah, I actually did something about it! I didn't just sit on my ass going mad on my smartphone griping about "Fuck you, Dragoneer! You suck!" So I'm just gonna sit back and let the flesh-eating disease that is furry drama fester and infect FA until it's more scab than quality. And the furries will have no one to blame but themselves. Not even Dragoneer, just themselves."
Me:
"I pretty much wake up to things like this every time it happens. I look on my phone for messages and I see a flood of journals on the same subject and giving thier opinions on it. Then I gets more and more flooded the next day, and then the next, until it tides over in about...a week give or take. I would mention it with a few friends and whatnot, but I don't go all out with it...not like I used to. I just sit back down and get drawing with music. Regarding the decisions, controversy, individual people in things that go on, or just plain mistakes, it all becomes too common for people to tolerate until you develop a sense of "I don't a fuck" thought in your head. It happens, but what do you think the end result is? Particular ones that happened may begin, but then it leads to social damages. I've seen friendships destroyed, relationships ruined, and other collateral damage b/c people say what they say and the other guy will contradict it. While this goes on, in my mind I walk up a hill and watch everyone completely eat each other alive. I'm pretty much a spectator of the madness. If you think this is bad of me to do, then think about this. I acknowledge the fact that horrible things go on in life or society, but I will not get involved b/c it's not my fight. There would be alot less bullshit without my help anyways. If you still think I'm being a jackass then I'll say this: Karma is a bitch and you only have yourselves to blame for painting on a massive canvas the hell you have created. In other words, this is reality that you can make. It's either good or bad depending on how you see it."
The image here itself was a thought that came up when the drama effect itself comes up. This is not aimed at anyone in particular but to display what goes on in my head of what I see happens to a community. I used to react, but I'm growing more to the point of not getting involved. Sometimes you just gotta' let sleeping dogs lie. I'm allowing comments here, b/c I believe everyone has a right to have their say so, and I'm not going to take that away from you. I'm just not going to respond. No offense. Hell, we may get some de-watches, or hate comments, but that's life and we can;t do anything to stop it.

Yeah, most of the dramas i feel the same; it's not worth getting involved since it tends to be about rather trivial things (that can be solved, but most furs feel entitled and act like children when things come up they don't agree with)
as for the adult ad controversy, i did take that a little more seriously as it was something to consider for people who would be joining up on the site or those who would rather not see adult content (such as myself). Thankfully, the issue was resolved.

I think I'm the insane homeless nut in the city wandering around giggling like a madman and pushing around a shopping cart full of captured pigeons I've let nest in ropes of Christmas lights.
I walk around and watch everyone freak out and just absolutely love the ridiculousness of the stupid thinking I'm the crazy one.
Really, the last few big dramas have felt like that. The adult ad issue? Never came up for me because I've been using adblockers for yeeeears.
IMVU buy out? That's sitting in my cardboard box house kicking back with a brown paper bag covered bottle of whiskey and saying, "Oh this is gunna be goooooood."

I would totaly agree with you on this subject. Sure, there can be some people that would disagree with a person that would do a journal/drawing to express their current feelings at the time of creation. There would also be people that would just give hate comments that would try to bring down the person that is just drawing their view of art to find their happy/inner peace.
In my opinion, I believe that people have their opinions about what they think about what is posted on FurAffinity of what they think is very nice and what doesn't look right at all. The only problem being that there are limitations to what you can say (or type in this situation) that can be said before it would lead to cyber-bullying.
Sorry if this is a long comment, but I wanted to say that people would need to stop with the drama and start seeing the true understanding of what the person is making in their art and what they truly mean in their journals.
