Kinda tearing up while typing this, this is my first cat who passed away about 5 years ago, she was the age of 13 ( I think ) when she stopped coming for food and water. Cats runaway when they are about to die. I miss her a lot since we had her from 1999 till about 2010 .

She couldn't meow (my mom rescued her when she saw her as a kitten being shook around by a neighbors dog by bopping the dog on the head with her cane, thats how we first got her, but thats also why we think she couldn't meow) but i could understand her. She was my best friend and I loved her.

Liquorice was a Hemingway cat which meant she had six toes instead of five.
