Yup! I've been sitting on this one for a while. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try going match by match through the tournament; I might, I might not.

It's easy to do if you're building the scene mostly from memory; if I've done something in the past, it usually comes to me in first person.

Interesting. The anatomical and physiological differences really have their place in this story. A lizard and a wolf are truly different animals, thus the wrestling match is quite interesting. Very well written, intense, amusing. Great little piece, I enjoyed reading this.

Some author once asked me "Why write *furry* fiction? Why not make the characters people? What's special about them that they have to be non-human characters?" So I do try to draw out those kinds of differences.

I'm not sure what you mean by "saving", exactly.

well... for me it's a system of saving things in files - not so much different than anyone else might - but the next thing you know and there ya go... enough chapters for a book.

and no it wouldn't be boring - though they should have some goal or end purpose I suppose. Perhaps their dojo would stand strong against the evil bad guy vilians and save the day...

So, if I do decide to make a story out of it, what do I do? Should I take the pieces down from here after a while? Polish them into a final form and keep that to myself, sending it to people who might publish it?

I really did like the description of him 'stealing' the wolf's warmth. You'd think if reptiles were common wrestlers, they'd keep the hall at a decent temperature!
