Was out taking some pictures with the new lens when I saw this eagle with a blue streamer waving behind it. When I looked through the lens I saw that it was a large blue shopping bag that was tangled up in it's talons. For about 2 or 3 minutes I watched this big bird twisting, turning, and diving to try and shake off the bag but it didn't happen. It disappeared into some trees about 2 miles away and hopefully it got its legs free soon after. Hunting prey with a noisy bright colored plastic bag whipping in the wind as you dive must be damn near impossible.

When I first saw it this eagle was quite far away and I couldn't figure out why there was a streak of blue flapping around behind it until I looked through the lens and saw this. It was something that I've never seen before and I wonder how it got tangled up like this, I hope it managed to get it off before long.
