hehe sometimes I think that beards are kind of a trademark for all male artists (Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, van Gogh, Wilhelm Busch etc...)

hehe. That was a cool saying. I think male artists in the past wanted to provoke people with their facial styles outside the mainstream. And as far as I know people in former times thought a beard as a symbol for guys who are "wise" or "have reached an aim" or something like this...

It was a symbol of status. Like most of your body, your beard shows how well you take care of yourself. To have a long beard a man first has to be healthy enough to grow it (good genes) and then has to perform regular maintenance, so it doesn't grow too wild. Trimming, washing, styling maybe. It shows willpower. It shows you use your time to take care of yourself and what's yours. Usually taken to mean you take time to take care of your family/friends. As such, like your hair and your clothes and your body odor, a beard can be used as a sign of attractiveness.

There's also the fact that people who are too busy working probably wouldn't have had the time to shave every morning, not without the tools we have today. So all the busy kings and scientists and artists who worked all day sported big, manly beards, since they didn't have the time to have their barbers shave it for them every single day.
(Hell, I know I get so busy sometimes that I Forget to shave for a week or two. XP)


It's easy to get points when you remembre to bring your good ropes. ; )

The anime was named Shining Tears X Wind, some fragments of the first episodes can be seen on youtube, but some where removed because of trouble with the copyright and stuff.

I agree with this handsomely golden dragon, who I clearly don't know, that this guy is very cute. I....want to stroke his beard too. *gingerly strokes the beard, my fingers rubbing the soft hair as I fawn over how cute Gregus looks* I would rub his beard and his ears, with thier fluffy fur on the inside. I love his clothing, and all of the colors, you keep making colors that clash 'click' so well.~ Geez, so many handsome men you make. Actually, Solatorobo and Tail Concerto were sold over here in North America. But....you don't want to see the price online for them. ^^; I unfortunately never got the chance to buy them before they vanished years ago. ^^; And now, those prices would make me punch the ones charging them that high. Unless you ARE willing to fish out $70 USD and up. D:

Oh I remember that game they had it at GameStop and I bought it knowing nothing About it because I liked the box art I didnt even have a da at the time xD but fantastic game if you have not played it I would recommend it
