I just love when I get a chance to make these quick "1 day stories" with others.
This one is a art-trade that I made for
monterrang, of his rat OC as a mad scientist, who's experiment turns onto it's own creator!
The rat character belongs to Monterrang.

Monterrang is a brilliant (but slightly insane) lab rat. Which doesn't mean that he is a subject for science tests, but actually that he is the scientist!
He had a certain belief that he would be able to solve all the hunger in the world by simply making the food that was going to get consumed...bigger!
The way to make this happen was by letting a small drop of the serum land on the subject of wishing growth, and then simply see the magic happen as it becomes 3 times it's original size.
Sadly he didn't get much support from anyone in the science circuits, and therefore he was forced to conduct his experiments in an abandoned warehouse by the bay in the outskirts of the city.
As he was all by himself on these things he know he would have to play every role in the creation team, and that included taste tester.
He decided to let the first thing to get the "growth serum" would be a small piece of cheese. (Mostly cause you know, if you are going to test these things on yourself, you might as well give yourself a small threat.)
He pulled out from a safe a bottle that contained his "super invention", and by using a small turkey baster he pulled up a small dose of it. Letting one drop hit the cheese Monterrang saw how the small piece quickly grow bigger and heavier in his hand.
"Fools!" He thought to himself. "Why wouldn't any of them want to work with me on this? It has done exactly what it was suppose to do. If they expected something bad to happen I would like to see what that would be!"
And as he thought that he decided to take the whole cheese piece in at once in his mouth, and then very quickly chew and swallow it. And that's when things started to go bad for him!
All of the sudden he could feel how something inside of him was growing, and before he know it his belly bulged out a few feet! When that happen it burst open all of the buttons of his lab coat (Exposing his bare fur underneath.) but the belly had also hit his one arm hard. That arm happen to be the one holing the bottle with the self-made potion. (And the tap was still not placed back!) As the arm got hit, the bottle flew out of his grip, and as it got turned upside down in the air the content ran out of it, and covered it self on his big bare belly. "Oh No!" Monterrang thought at that moment.
Given that only a small drop was enough to make a small crumb grow into a eatable portion, there was no limit to what the whole bottle would do to something!
He could hear loud grumbling sounds growing from his insides as he saw the liquid was digging into his fatty fur.
Once again the growing was doing it's quick work by making the rat's body grow out in a directions at once!
Starting with his arms he could feel how they where ripping apart the arms on the lab coat, and how his paws where turning into big chunks of dough.
The same went with his legs, who's new size made him pant less, and given the sever lack of muscles it didn't take long for him to start loosing his balance!
Lucky for him he didn't have to fall backwards for long as he almost immediately had something to take his weight. That something was his butt, that had ballooned out so much that each butt check was currently about the same size as couch!
His tail was the most useless thing on his body now as it couldn't move at all, and it's big weight did nothing but making sure that Monterrang wouldn't be able to rise up again from his seating position.
Just looking him in the face nobody would be able to say it was the same rat they had seen yesterday as he now started to have the chins and neck rolls pile on so much that he was starting to become a direct copy of Jabba the Hut!
But the crown achievement of his weight gain had to be his stomach that seemed to be on a "mission" to become exactly as long, wide, and high. The big spherical shape was also starting to feel like a huge cannonball, as the insides of it was stored with so much fat that it became much more "evenly" fatted out then the rest of his body. (One theory to why this was the case could be because that was exactly the place where the potion had made it's first contact on him.)
But it wasn't only in weight he was growing, but also in height. As he was gaining about 10-12 pounds per second he was also growing about 2-3 inches.
The quickly obese rat knew that the smartest move should have been to get outside as quickly as possible so nothing more would get destroyed, but his legs didn't do as wanted and he ended up resting on his big rump instead.
After that he was forced to just sit back and relax as his body was growing up and out, and closer and closer to the ceiling!
He had hoped that once his belly made contact with it (Given that it was the part of him that was furthers out.) it would stop, but that was just wishful thinking as he heard the steel plates and beams start to make loud crumbling noises.
The destruction was pretty devastating to the ware house as once the roof started to get loose, walls where starting to fall over, and pretty soon not much of it was left then smoke and scraps.
By now he had become 100 feet tall, and was weighing over 10 000 lbs!
His arms and legs where now looking as stuffed as the limbs of a fat plush toy. (And was just as flexible.)
His butt looked like a big port for ships to sail into and settle.
His tail was now so big that it could be believed to be a blood sucking worm that was attached to him.
His face had so many rolls and chins that it looked like a mountain trip for climbers to try out.
And his belly has such huge round dimensions that it could probably be considered a smaller planet. (Like Pluto.)
He hoped that these 5 minutes of insane grow spouts hadn't created to much attention, but as he started to look around he saw that he had got himself a pretty big group of on lookers. These included news teams from several different TV Companies, the city's army, and a good chunk of the many furries living there.
Among them he could was several of the scientist that had previously turned him so down many times on his inventions.
Feeling a little bit cocky over seeing how stunned they all where he said "Are you convinced now?" to them.
