This comic marked the semi-beginning of the real BF Funnies stuff. The getting a new worker for the studio was the start of setting up steady cast members. I had already known Rhennessa was going to be in it, myself of course, and Cye and Bren/Brenna would be showing up from time to time. I wanted another cast member though, so I put up the offer on the Macrophile Forums. The first 20 folks who responded would be part of a random drawing of three who would go on to be included in a few comics, all to help determine who would be the winner and new steady cast member.
