Oh, so neat! I've just heard the original one; you really made a fantastic job with your version. I definitely don't have the same hearing as you, but the impression that I had is that you not only changed the instruments, of course, but you recreated most of, if not entirely, the instruments melody and it fit so well. Amazing. Still, I think that your version has a better entry, like a mood setter and you were right when you said you took the best part of the lyric...

I don't intend to sound toady, but If I were to chose which version I liked better, I would stick 100% with yours cause I enjoyed the way you ended as well, but if you come up with a true cover, I find it will be a blast cause I think your voice will suite better too. ^^ (OMG... Pretty damn good. I'm not TOO much of a trance/rave fan, but this is something I'd put on my Zen. I like the fact that I can hear the lyrics and they aren't hidden under a ton of synth work and special effects. Plus, you've got a good voice.
