Spinosaurus aegypticus. Lived during the late Cretaceous, 95 milllion years ago, in Africa. The first specimen found was destroyed in WWII, when Allied troops dropped bombs on Nazi headquarters. The museum which held the specimen was located right across from the Nazi offices.
Other specimens have been found since, especially the teeth, which are very common. The teeth are unique in a creature as big as Spinosaurus, and are designed to eat and hunt fish. The skull is also similar to that of a crocodile.
Spinosaurus also had a large sail on it's back, the purpose of which is largely unknown, but theories include assistance with swimming, mating displays, or heat control.
