Was your inspiration Megaman perhaps? I believe an animation of this plays for the first DS versions...Protoman and Colonel.
It was that or one of the more recent ones that have something almost exactly like this.
Either way, whether it was based off that or not, it must of taken quite a bit of effort to do this, so Kudos!
