So first off, I did not know Sammy personally, but I was pretty emotional when I heard the news, I get pretty emotional about things like this in general...
I was actually at the Pokemon nationals since I live here in Indy.. I could have walked right passed her without knowing and that just really got to me..
I first found out when I got on fb and my local Pokemon league leader posted about it and had a link for the fundraiser. Then I got on twitter and started seeing all of these posts about how wonderful of a person she was. I wish I got to know her.
So I felt like I should contribute even though I did not know her. She seemed like an amazing person and my heart goes out to all of her friends and family. <3

I am just so glad to be a part of two communities that care so much about each other, even people they don't know. I really hope this picture does her justice.
