The 1904 Wright Brothers Flyer #3 on display the Carillon History Park in Dayton, Ohio. The Wright Flyer #1 is the famous one which made their famous flight at Kitty Hawk, NC. Lessons learned from this flight lead to the construction of the Wright Flyer #2 which had the ability to bank.
The #2 flyer was deconstructed and the parts used to build this one the Wright Flyer #3. This one could bank, had a much higher flight time, and much better manuverability. It was donated by the remaining Wright brother in the 1950's to the city of Dayton (their hometown) and placed on display at the park.
