Correct, with Gareth Edwards having directed it.
(Don't bother with the sequel The Dark Continent, though, the only redeeming things about that are the protagonists dying painfully)

Yes, Edwards seems to have a fascination with tentacles. Even some of the Muto concepts had tentacles.

I recall seeing those. The muto looked a lot like your depictions of the creatures from the movie, which is most likely why you doodled them together.

You mean the tentacle porn picture? It was rather because of their roles in their respective movies rather than because of similarities with the early Muto concepts.

G14 is good, but it has a lot wrong with it, so I'm eager to see what this movie is like.

Ooh, cool! Fan art for the movie, Monsters! I thought that's what this was the second I saw the thumbnail. You really got the look of them down. The lighting you used is gorgeous and it really feels like the film.
