I love the design of the dragons in Crypt of the Necrodancer so much I decided to use it as greyscale rendering practice! Originally I wanted to give it a red overlay to make it everyone’s favorite dance partner but I ended up really liking how it looks as is haha~

This dragon’s based more on the original in-game sprite rather than the high quality bestiary image; While the bestiary image itself is a fantastic dragon design, I just can’t help but enjoy the silly looking sprite more~
