I think he's coming out really well so far, nice line work for his head and the detail in the mane looks great. I really like the way that you have handled his hands, giving them those horn/hoof nail tips fits really well with the boar design. I look forward to seeing the finished product for him one day.

Oh and I don't think you give yourself enough credit for drawing anthros ;)
