I bowed down to it when I was a kid. Everything- anime, games, cards, you name it. Then I put it down abruptly when I was 14 or something and just grew out of it. Out of nostalgia I picked up Diamond when it came out and was re-addicted. That lasted....a week? If that? Those games have no story that's worth hearing and that's what usually keeps me interested. And the new pokemon suck in comparison to the old ones.

Everyone loves Arcanine lol. I loves Houndoom

Houndoom was cool too. My favorite when I was a kid was Venusaur. Always picked my bulby when I replayed it 80+ times. Those were good times.

Mightyena, Arcanine, Machoke, Sandslash, Blastoise, Espeon I think was my last party.

That or I had Ursaring instead of Mightyena, something like that. I like a balanced team.

Arcanine has always been one of my favorites. ^ ^ It always annoyed me so much that you have to wait for three-quarters the game just to get one. >.<

My favorite team used to be Arcanine, Sandslash, Arcticuno, Butterfree, Blastoise, and Raichu. I don't remember what all the other pokemon games have as far as...well, pokemon went, but this is what I remember from the first game. ^ ^;
