Okay I worked on this for longer than I had anticipated. But I am glad I did. I had to focus a lot of energy into something, and I went with making that thing a story. I have been dealing with a lot of junk going on lately and it is nice to pump all that energy from stress into something fun and exciting that people might enjoy.
Anyways, so what is this? Would you call it a fanfiction? I dunno, but I can tell you what it is, it is a story set in the Star Wars universe featuring Jordin Fhorbes... well that is what I wanted to call her in this setting, it is more fitting than Geordi Forbes.... well it features her, her astromech R5-N8, and her fishy Mon Cal friend Merafen.
We have space, space action, space mystery, more space dogfighting, rude droids, all that jazz. I know one of the last stories I wrote was also a starfighter kind of story, but eh, I do love those things. Dogfights in space, though this time in the Star Wars setting cause...I wanted to.

Lovely story, enjoyed a lotta parts of it, but I'd rather discuss the specific parts I enjoyed with ya in messenger n whatnot. Don't wanna give anything in the way in comments. All I knows is I dig Star Wars, and ya did it some justice.

Great action in this piece, and really solid character interactions too. Geordi is an odd one, even after reading this I still have a lot of trouble describing her character - which is definitely a good thing. She is complex and unpredictable, which is very realistic. I love to take characters like this and throw them into highly traumatic situations so their true colors can shine through - like being trapped alone in space with a seemingly-superior enemy hunting you down I suppose. ;)
Ah man then this was a success! I was wondering if this stuff would come together and click but it seems to have done so here, which is wonderful, thank you! And yeah... she is kind of an odd one, but I am glad that it is odd in a good way. I've always had a lot of fun working with her, but I never do that enough I think... and yeah, being chased down by one of those fighters is a good way to be in a traumatic situation, heh.
