This is it! No more DJ Zing art after this one in his own words. His blue hedgehog form is now 100% retired and no more. This is the best way to say the end for the blue hedgehog guy here, spending his retirement making origami for rest of his life. Bittersweet ending, forever making origami in peace he does loves. He's now happier doing something else in his life as a human being. So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish!

I must confess that I enjoyed the entire comic sequence because my favorite Transformational stories are the kind were the newly transformed creature retains his personality and intellect, and is accepted by others. Imagine... Those shadows taking the cell phone shots can show their friends and say, "I was there." I also like the idea of 'morph critters doing things like folding origami. Think of the advantages of having stronger grip strength, and being able to make those tight, tiny folds using one's claws?
I must confess I did look at lot of your art on Transfer under your username CaliforniaKitFox. I was like hey whatever happen to you? Because your last artwork uploaded on the transfer was in the year 2006 (nine years ago!). I did thought you fell off of the earth and no longer in the furry fandom anymore for ages. I must say your silly humor TF comic strips are clever and very playful on ideas and thoughts. You really do have unique old style from the early days of the furry fandom.
That's very interesting way of saying it about the TF comic work here of mine. I do like it better when only the body have been changed, however the mind is still the same as always. It's great to see that my panels does tell a story all of their own that you figured out. Yes I'm sure those humans will brag all about the DJ music night of the transformation. One silent Picture in the comic can hold so many different meanings and worth thousand words. I'll be making more TF comic arts as always. I'm working on my third TF comic work, it's a human guy turning into ferret mixed with bit of bat in it. I'm glad you really did enjoyed my second humble TF comic work here, that does means a lot to me.
Zing actually do loved making origami in real life, we're both Skype buddies. That's how I realized his love for origami art, and told I must make the pin up of him doing it. I don't regret doing the pin up illustration of it here, LoL! It was so worth it. That does make sense on the claws used for folding origami. I bet claws would be useful for building up the model kits with claws as tools. I don't do model kits like you do. Again, using claws as model tool would be fun silly comic strip for you to make it.
Thanks for the four favorites, and the comment here! I do greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for your support!

Gadfrey! Well, I must admit that 2006 was the year I started posting my art here on FA and I just kind of left the other websites I used to submit to hanging in the wind. I'm now concentrating on getting my artistic skills back after three years of setbacks, and keeping up with my Fanzine submissions. Yeah... I'm still building models and sculpting as "Therapy" for the nerves in my hands. So far I've been excited and pleased about the results.
I also liker you unique style of art with it's "Underground Comics" look and the "New and Now" story lines. Your comics might fit well into some of the City newspapers I used to get in San Francisco, Oakland and later, Pasadena.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for replying in return. Yeah it's easier to deal with one site. However, I choose to focus on all four sites, possibly more in future. Old art from more than nine years ago can still earn new fans and followers to this day. No matter how different it is from today. Life can be tough as always, we all must stand up to the life and deal with it. Making art give us a sense of control over mind and life. Help us become who we are. I hope your hands will get better, good luck building models. You sure do make interesting ones to look at.
Thanks! LoL, I myself personally work with my own inking brushes, and pen nibs for better natural art inking. Unlike some digital inkings who feels too generic and too straight. I like it better when inking do have depth and weight added to the lines, not painstaking straight lines we see today. I really don't read underground comics all that much. I did read some there and there, I do liked Richard Corben's work. I'm more into golden age and bronze age of the comic arts. EC comics is one of those I loved to read, many wonderful EC artists. I must admitted I don't know what "New and now" thing is all about.
Thanks for the watch! Thanks again for your support! Have fun watching me! Will do keep up the good work.
